I think First Class and DoFP are the best of the series.

I'd rank like:
X2 > X1 > FC >= DOFP > X3

Horror Express

This movie is about as fun as you'd expect a spooky adventure about Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee fighting an evil, body-hopping creature aboard a train would be, which is to say: it's really super fun. Atmospheric score, and in the third act Telly Savalis shows up!

Jurassic World

A sadly generic, forgettable blockbuster, plagued with annoying characters (many played by great actors), a lazy script, and even the headlining dinosaurs aren't particularly well realized (the animation for the raptors is probably the poorest).

Another disappointing sequel to the '93 classic.

Revenge of the Creature

The Jurassic World of the '50s. An attempt to go bigger just ends up losing what made The Creature From the Black Lagoon so special. Unfortunately, the film centers on John Agar at his most smarmy and unlikable. Still, the scenes of the Gill Man in captivity are quite affecting. Poor guy.

Octopussy - Ugh, not as bad as Moonraker, but this movie is so damn boring and way too long. 5/10 stars.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies - Meh. I didn't see this in theaters and, while the movie is ok, it's by no means great. I've never read the books and have no idea how many changes Jackson made (aside from adding a character who wasn't in the books), but the film feels bland and the CGI is awful in spots. I'd give it a 5.5 or 6/10.

I've got X-Men thoughts and how you're all basically wrong but I just wanted to say that Hobbit 3 is really, truly AWFUL. In so many ways, shapes and forms that it boggles my mind to think anyone could like it at all.

Bloodsport - I unabashedly love this "so bad, it's good" 80's movie. Plus the soundtrack is wonderfully terrible.

The Wolverine isn't bad, but I found it very average. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Bad special effects and the super Deadpool thing was an abomination.

Anyway, I just finished Resevoir Dogs for the first time. It's a good film, though not quite as clever as other Tarantino movies.

@Jelly - I've always said that Jackson has issues with over the top action scenes. Legolas running up the falling stones is beyond ludicrous, but Jackson did this in King Kong with the Brontosaurus scene. He's always trying to one up something. He needed multiple V Rexes to fight Kong. No, no he didn't. Despite that scene being handled well, a one on one fight would have been just fine.

Too much of a stretch? You're watching a movie about mutants. That is already a stretch, so they can do and say anything else and it works.

I meant that I have no reasons why I want you to like it so much. But I just wanna be like "C'Mon man...dude. Bro. C'MON. It's good."

As for The Wolverine, I like it. I like it a lot actually. The only X-Men movies I don't like are 3 and Origins and Origins is the only one I just can't stand even a little bit. I don't own it, I don't want to own it, and I'm glad it's just being entirely ignored by everyone. My wife actually likes the X-Men movies and I've never even shown her that one. I want her to be blissfully unaware.

I was so excited that I was going to be able to say "I saw Jaws on the big screen today," but alas, our theater's video feed wasn't working, so I didn't. :( We are going to try to go to their Wednesdays night showing.

X3 was fun? I thought it was down right horrible. I watched it over and over to find something to like about it but after a while, I realized I just couldn't. That movie is just a piece of ****. It is to Marvel what Batman & Robin is to DC. Hell, even Spider-Man 3 at least has some really good moments to be found compared to X3.

As for Superman Returns, yeah, it sucked too, but at least Kevin Spacey made it entertaining. It's just too bad it was Kevin Spacey playing Gene Hackman playing Lex Luthor instead of just playing Lex. Oh, and Routh was quite good as Superman too.

"Sentinel Online?" I don't get it.
