Dude, yes! Steel Panther is hilarious and AWESOME! :lol:



I recently "discovered" this great prog/power metal band called Serenity, from Austria. They're like a mix of Kamelot, Sonata Arctica and Dream Theater. Very cool stuff! I've already turned all of my metal friends onto them in short order and now it's your turn. :P

Their vocalist reminds me of a mix of Niklas Isfeldt (Dream Evil) and Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica). The first album is in a progressive metal vein and can be Dream Theater-esque. The musical style on the second album though really reminds me of Kamelot/Sonata with the focus on symphonic execution and vocals. To be honest I'm actually going to buy the second album I like it so much. Gotta support good music!
