Watched a few films from my Cary Grant and Spencer Tracy TCM sets: Mr Blandings Builds His Dream House, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and Bad Day at Black Rock.

The only one I have anything to say about is Black Rock, which is a pretty cool flick about a one-armed veteran (Tracy) who arrives at a middle of nowhere desert town somewhere in the US just after WWII to see a Japanese farmer. Said farmer is missing, and it becomes increasingly clear that the entire town has been complicit in his murder and that Tracy is in danger.

Had myself a Godzilla double feature yesterday. Watched "Godzilla vs. Monster Zero" and "Terror of Mechagodzilla".

I felt like everything clicked with me.

What exactly do you guys feel was so wrong with "every piece of dialogue?" Is it perhaps, that you were such huge fans of the source material, that you interepted it one way in your head for so long, that anything short of that was already doomed to failure?
