Well...certain actors...once they become too famous...become indistinguishable from their "celebrity". Tom Cruise is a good example...he can no longer play a role..he's Cruise...pretending to be whatever role he is in..as opposed to a Christopher Lee...or say..Ian Mckellen...both brilliant actors whose "celebrity staus" doesn't overshadow their roles.

Not a huge 30 Rock fan, but Baldwin is brilliant in it.

Also, he's the Shadow.

Also, I think the Shadow was better than Burton's Batman films.

Also, I've just watched a movie. Evelyn Prentice is the second film in my box set of old Hollywood pictures starring William Powell and Myrna Loy. At first it seemed to be another okay melodrama somewhat saved by good performances, but thankfully it becomes a kind of murder mystery halfway through and Powell breaks out some of his Nick Charles detectiv'en to become the greatest lawyer ever.

Alien: Resurrection

Missed the previous showing of Alien 3, but oh well. I was bored and in need of some entertainment. :P

A King's Speech

Saw this last night and man it was such a great film. The cinematography was excellently done and the actors were amazing! The story was simple but very deep and made room for character development. Totally recommend!
