Ah damn, sorry man, I feel like a right tit for blanking on that part. What I *should* have said was that at least it sounds like she was happy to finally have a real home with you guys after spending so long living in the sanctuary or bouncing in and out of it, and it's great that you were there to care for her and give her that home in her last years.

I learned that her former private suite at the cat sanctuary was taken over by another antisocial senior with special medical needs who was herself later adopted and is still living happily, so that's reassuring.
