Frys is really the only store left in my area that has any kind of decent selection. Best Buy has gone to crap, they have less than half of the selection they used to. The Biollante BRD was probably the first item I bought there in 3 years, and my wife will tell you some horror stories about how much I frequented there . And as it was, I found it near the bottom of a bargain bin just by chance. Still 90% of all titles I get now through Amazon or eBay. I usually just go to Fry's to see if I can get a good cheap price on some impulse item I hadn't planed on purchasing.

Disc plan should be $7.99 + $3 if you want blu-ray for one movie plan add another $2-$3 for a second movie plan.

That breakdown is not a complete picture of their disc based options. I'm on a plan where I get one disc at a time, but also a maximum of two discs per month. It is cheaper and since I rarely ever found enough time to watch more than two discs per month, it made total sense for me. Il try to find the pricing for that plan and post it.

EDIT: the "limited plan" that I'm on costs 5.99 per month for bluray or 4.99 for just DVD (in addition to the $7.99 per month streaming). However, the way it looks on their website I'd be curious if they still offer limited plans if you don't already have one. When I click to see what other disc based plans are available, they have a bunch of unlimited options but the plan I'm on is the only limited plan available.

Either Netflix DVD service (don't really have Internet except iPhone).
Or Redbox.

As the selections for anime are pretty slim (as is my wallet) on Netflix, I will be canceling before the end of the month.

Redbox is mostly for either something that I was hesitant or iffy on seeing in the theater (or it bombed before I got a chance to see it), or something a bit different (like those direct to video movies like Sharknado).

Other than that, if I have the $ I buy stuff.
With 99% being anime.
Though with work & the rather tight budget I am buying a lot less than I used to.
Plus I am kinda getting annoyed at certain companies who just LOVE the little "game" of bringing out 26 episode shows as half sets, and charging about $50 for each half ($100 for the whole series).
Then about a year later they re-release it as a full set for about $40.
Plus the infamous game of doing the Combo Pack release instead of seperate DVD/Blu-Ray releases.
Add in the fact that sometimes (due to the actual Japanese company) they can't put subs on the Blu-Ray.

Well my g/f got an extra $2000 bonus in her paycheck today and she went on a horror movie buying spree, which also solves my Halloween problem.

It's Echo Bridge, so I already knew it was going to be screwed up. Honestly, I don't care. She got the 3 pack for like $8 or something. Plus, we'll watch them next month and then we will never watch them again, only to sell them off in 5 years wondering why we bought them. Then in about 8 years after that, I'll get in the mood to watch them and ask why we sold them.

Plus, as long as the original movie (which comes out on Tuesday) and the second movie have the correct aspect ratios, I am fine.

BTW, Hellraiser 1 is the only movie in that entire lot that I have ever seen. I've only seen the Amity remake and none of the other movies at all.

Plus the whole comic/book/movie thing (Arthur & Harvey).

I seem to be using Redbox a bit more now.
The local library has some good stuff.
Only problem is looking at that stuff is hard to do, since I can only go on my days off.

Hellraiser 2 is a solid Hellraiser entry. Nothing else though. It's a shame too, there are a couple good ideas spread out between 3 and 4...especially 3 has some really neat ideas, but 3 ends on a cliffhanger and 4 is COMPLETE GARBAGE>
