Top 3 Trilogies

Unfortunately, Indiana Jones is invalidated as a trilogy due to the mere existence of a fourth installment. Even if you hate it enough to think of it as "indy in name only" (I wouldn't go that far at all, but to each their own), it still exists and we have to face reality

Also, I want to give some props to one that I haven't seen turn up yet. Daiei's Yokai trilogy. In fact, I'd say that I even prefer it to their Daimajin trilogy. Don't get me wrong I love the Daimajin trilogy, but if you've seen one, you have more or less seen them all. The Yokai films are extremely different from each other, so each one feels very fresh. I guess one could raise the fact that they made a new one a few years ago, but I consider the Miike film more of a reboot/remake than a fourth entry.

The way I see it The Man With No Name is like Bugs Bunny: his films have no continuity between each other except in a vague sense, but it's still Bugs Bunny each time.
