Saw the rumble....although it didn't really surprise me, it was still fun to watch.

If you saw the intro, you sorta knew Orton was going to win. It was practically made for him to win......Though after a while, I expected it to be DiBiasi, since he's gotta promote "The Marine 2" in a few weeks.

I was kinda expecting Christian to be the 30th man, but that went to Big Show....though again, I see the logic - too many men in the ring at the time, so someone needed to thin the herd....

THough I'll be honest: Matt's betrayal came out of left field, though I knew it'd happen eventually. I mean, one HAD to go heel for the other's title, since it's one of the best ways to attract attention and field fans.

Here's what I'm expecting: Christian vs Edge for the WWE Title at WM, while The Hardys duel it our for a couple of months, until they have a Backyard Wrestling-style TLC match at WM. Orton goes after Cena at WM....and quite possibly...just maybe.....Gail Kim returns to fight Melina for the Women's Title. The Diva's title, in a perfect world, anyway, would be nonexistant(yeah, I'm sayin' it: Smackdown divas CANNOT wrestle and ARE NOT entertaining AT ALL).......

This is shaping up to be one intereresting road to No Way Out....

I was just reading the Orton rumor....it'd make sense, considering
nothing's happening to him because of the "punt".....

Sucks that Gail's going to SD! - hopefully that changes....she's better off on RAW, considering SD! no longer has any pure wrestling talent,(except for Natalya, whom I hope goes to RAW anyway and becomes the first lady of LEGACY) and the Diva's title is...well....for those model-divas anyway.

I wonder if Christian's just taking time off or actually working on himself through all that time....

BTW, I found out about another rumor, this time not from the wrestling observer, but from Access Hollywood - Apparently, the WWE have spoken to Mickey Rourke and would like him to participate in a MATCH at W25.....and it looks like he's already chosen his opponent: Chris Jericho. Rourke himself apparently confirmed this.

Another rumbling I've heard and read is that RVD will be at 'Mania either fighting for the ECW Championship or against CM Punk. Speaking of Punk, it seems WWE's talking to Dreamstage entertainment again to see if the long-rumored Punk vs KENTA match could take place this year. However, nothing's been agreed on and RVD could be KENTA's replacement if nothing's reached by the end of February.

It also looks like TNA might interfere in that, as they're really pushing to have Kenta on IMPACT later this year in some role within the X Division.

one last bit of news I read was actually something I've been wanting to know for the longest: What ever happened to Suicide? We knew Kazarian had been injured, but what they hadn't said was what they were planning - while Jeff Jarrett wants the character to continue, everyone else suggests they drop the character since the game's sales were less than expected. Their writers are looking into it right now, but Suicide is considered low priority as it relates to storylines and on-air characters.
Shame. :?

Yeah....

You know, knowing how Hollywood is now, it would've been a good idea to hide this under the radar 'til after the oscars, when the Academy can't touch its' winners.

.....'sides....the academy is made up of stuck up rich aristocrats who think they know what's "in" and what's "good" in Hollywood. They probably think wrestling's vulgar, even with Rourke's awesome portrayal serving as example.

I mean, the reveal could've been after Rourke won, and WWE could've wrote it off as a "thank you" speech from Rourke to the fans, that'd be interrupted by Jericho, which would lead to an impromptu match at WM24.

...............but nooooooo, WWE are impatient and want their stuff now.

This could've probably been the best(and most hyped) celebrity vs wrestler match in WM history...

I wonder who they'll get now?

You must show no mercy, nor have any belief whatsoever in how others judge you... for your greatness will silence them all!

Man, I hope LOW comes out nicely. I'm kind of tired of WWF No Mercy being the best 3D wrestling game ever. As for the character models, it kind of looks like they're going for the cartoonish "bigger than life" vibe from the old Legends of Wrestling Games.

I've not played S vs R 2009 yet, but I rented '08 over the summer and ended up taking it back later that afternoon.

That's exactly why I love my copy of SvR 07....on the PSP.....and SvR 08....on the PS2.

I saw no reason to play SvR09 on my X360 since my CAWs have absolutely nothing to do with the product except casual play.

That's the resson I'd bought earlier versions...although seeing my custom finishers finally in the game makes it all the more.....bittersweet.

One of the only reasons I even pick up the TNA game(a friend gave me his copy...to have. ) is that even though the story's a bit wacky, my CAW sees some legit in-game action....though in that one, they revert to the cool-as-hell Suicide at the end.

Speaking of whom, I really do hope they use him completely and don't fire him until after he's "fulfilled his destiny" and become Heavyweight Champion for the Frontline.....hopefully Kazarian, Daniels, or Petey's ready for the big time under the mask.

BTW, the TNA videogame's storyline feels really cookie-cutter and based on Def Jam Vendetta....which isn't really a bad thing. It makes the climax eerily satisfying and gratifying.
