MLB Season Starts...YESTERDAY

I'm not a HUGE baseball fan (growing up in a city without a major league team and where the only games we got regularly were the Yankees [blech] doesn't get you into the game) but I do like the Chicago White Sox AND I have a mini-pack of tickets for the Astros this season.


The MLB Season started yesterday, rather quietly, with only a handful of games instead of the usual opening day where there are DOZENS of games.

it's a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG season, but it can be a fun one. the idea that every single game doesn't necessarily count is kinda a cool one...it lets me kinda follow the action without feeling OBSESSIVE about it like I do with football...


Anyway, Go SOX, hopefully we can have another 2005-esque season (the only time a team I like has won the championship in one of the 3 major sports I follow) and win the Series this year!!

also, hopefully i get to go to some fun games when i go see the Astros.


ChiSox are ROLLING Cleveland right now: 11-0 in the top of the 4th.
