It was worse than SpaceG and the Pillsbury Dough G combined. The thing's weapons list didn't include Expotential Blow, but it was so equipped. That particular system never once stopped firing during the whole movie.
They'd have done better ripping off Diana Ace from the old Mazinger cartoon. Miki could've controlled it through psionics instead of bossing Godzilla around. The strange yakuza sub plot could've been retained in some form (if really needed), and the shame of her performance as military cheesecake could've been used to bolster the continuity point of Miki's losing her connection to Godzilla. Oh, and the audience would've been spared the mechanical woodpecker's drool-inspiring [reverb] Battle Amongst the Styrofoam. [/reverb]
