Today marks the 20th anniversary of Godzilla 1985! It’s a shame a special edition dvd will probably never happen… I would have been willing to donate Raymond Burr’s script to the movie that I guard with my life which has his notes scribbled all over it to be shown in something like a photo gallery. Oddly enough, the Super-X is referred to as the “S-R-Xâ€

Ah the bitter sweet scent of nostalgia. ^_^

I was only about 4 when this movie came out and I never got to see it in theaters. >o<

I remember when I was just getting started with my Godzilla craze begging my mother to stop at just about all of the most remote video rental stores scouring the shelves for any Godzilla movie I could lay my hands on.

Not armed with the knowladge I do now I had no idea how many movies were made and always became overjoyed to discover a new Godzilla film that I had never heard of before.

I was around 10 at the time and remember eventually coming across Godzilla 1985. Ah such joy. ^_^

I remember fondly watching it for the first time amazed by the graphical face lift the effects had in this film. Then by the end becoming intensly sad almost to tears when Godzilla was sealed away in the volcano that echoing death cry. ~_~;;;

I didn't know then that that movie was only the first in a new wave of movies untill much later on. I coulnd't understand why they would try to Kill Godzilla after he had saved the Earth so many times over from countless monsters.

I became overjoyed again though when I discovered Godzilla Vs. Biollante... and that Godzilla had miraculously survived that firey coffen of doom. ^_^

Man were does the time go? ^_^ I turn 24 this October 15th.
