yeah, the score for this movie is one of the only ones in the 90s films where it feels like Ifukube actually tried to do something and didn't just recycle old themes.

why, when mechagodzilla becomes Super Mechagodzilla, does (A) the eye magically heal and (B) the scene in which MG claims to fire all weapons NOT feature the eye-cannon?

I don't think Godzilla was attacking ONLY because of baby. I mean, he could sense him, but Godzilla was already a threat.
