I can see why MvsG is so well-revered but I still find it to be one of the least-interesting Showa films, excellent though it is. Certainly it is the most polished but...

I think it's high time I rewatch this movie with the special subtitles a good friend prepared. It's about the only way I can stand it. :lol:
