These days when I feel like watching a Godzilla movie I usually pop in one of the Millenium movies (G2K, GFW or GXMG). This is mostly because I just got burned out of the hesei movies because I just watched them so many times over and over again. Way back in 1990, I first heard of a new Godzilla movie being released in Japan called Godzilla Vs Biollante, then when I got a copy of Markalite Magazine from a local comic shop, I saw amazing pictures of the new Godzilla and Biollante. And to my surprise, in the magazine there was an announcement of another Godzilla movie going into production called Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah. I can't describe in words how excited I was, but I didn't get a chance to see either of them until a couple of years later when someone at my comic shop lent me his boot copy of Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah, and I quickly made a copy of it before I gave it back to the guy. For three full months, I watched this movie at least once a day LOL!! As soon as I came home from school I popped in the VCR and got transported into Godzilla land!

A few years later, I got the rest of the new films from a company called Video Daikaiju.
I will always look back and remember those wonderful and exciting years watching the hesei movies, they will always have a special place in my heart. Here is how I rank the movies:
1. Godzilla 1985
First Godzilla movie I saw in theaters. The music, the special effects, a bad@$$ Godzilla, Super X. Enough said!
2. Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah
Awesome Godzilla, awesome roar, awesome battles, cool Mecha Ghidorah, silly android, funny time travel and cute dorats. What's not to love?
3. Godzilla Vs MechaGodzilla
The return of MechaGodzilla, my favorite Godzilla foe. That's enough for me

4. Godzilla Vs Biollante
Loved how Godzilla looked, his roar, and the Battles between him and Biollante. And Biollante was one of the coolest foes ever created for Godzilla. So wished they would've brought her back for future films.
5. Godzilla Vs Destroyer
I cried when Godzilla melted at the end of the movie. Really liked Godzilla Junior, I so wished Toho had continued the series with him.
6. Godzilla Vs Space Godzilla
Cool movie with cool monsters, mechs and battles. Didn't care too much for Little Godzilla or the human characters. Could've done without 20 minutes of Yuki aiming his gun at Godzilla.
7. Godzilla & Mothra: Battle for Earth.
I don't dislike or hate this movie like some others do, my main problem with this movie is just Mothra. I never liked Mothra and never felt she was ever a worthy foe for Godzilla. Battra larvae form was cool, but when he turned into a dark Mothra just killed it for me. Still a cool movie and I really enjoyed hearing the Cosmos sing the Mothra song
