The first three films are all tied for the top. Needless to say, they feature much better effort then any other movie of the Heisie Series. Godzilla 1984 gave me a "scary" feel, Godzilla vs. Biolantte is creative and action packed, and Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah has stunnig special effects for 1991. (except "running") All of the other films sucked, except for Godzilla vs. Destroyah, especially Godzilla and Mothra: the Battle for Earth. Not trying to insult those who like the films.( I like them too, but they suck in compareision to the first three.)

I could never pick a single 'best film' from the Heisei series.
Mainly because all the films had such great moments, but at the same time, they all had weak points as well.
Now, several years after the Heisei series has ended, I find myself not really wanting to watch an entire film, but rather, just wanting so see some of the great scenes.
I think this is mainly because none of the human drama scenes really interested me. I found I never really cared about any of the characters.
However, with the Showa series, I can pop in a video and watch it from begining to end.
