My opinion about Godzilla vs. Biollante

Discuss the 2nd Godzilla film era here! Beam fights, revised versions of classic kaiju, the Heisei era was a mixed bag of fun and controversy!

Yeah, I love the irony in her character. I also love the end, where Erika Shiragami's spirit is revealed.

in my top 3 Goji movies of all time. I thought it was more exciting than 85. Had the best suit to date. Some great cinematography. Cool and interesting characters. Great miniature work and battle scenes with the military. Sure the battle with Biollante could have been longer, but this is possibly the best battle with Godzilla vs the military to date, so Id rather cut the Bio fight short for that. And the rematch with Biollante was very cool.under the worst circumstances Godzilla fights on and reveals his coolest attack to date, the Nuclear Pulse.

I dont see how you could say the lines in this dub were cheesy in comparison to the lines from the Hesei films, its at least 10x better. And I watch the subbed version now anyway , and while the broken Saradian english is bad Its a great film, with a very cool intro (was great to hear a traditional theme after 85s wonderful score which was lacking one). Im tempted to say its my favorite or second favorite, but ATM Im undecided. And I enjoyed the score, thought the older tracks were executed perfectly as well.
Thank You Universal for your Generosity! and SFJ for running these contests!

I collect movies like horror, including the curse, alligator, and more.

I love GvsBiollante, one of my more favorite Godzilla movies (ever).

It's got a unique plot...it's one of the first Godzilla movies to be a direct (very very direct) sequel to another...in fact, it's probably the only one that starts literally moments after the preceding one ends

it has a unique monster in Biollante, an excellent Godzilla suit and some decent acting

if the second fight between Godzilla and Biollante were a little longer and a little less anti-climactic, this would easily be a top 1-2, but I personally think the first fight is really well-done and a good length...not to mention the battles with SX2 are excellent and the battles at sea are sweet

One of my favorites of all the films and probably my #1 soundtrack. Awesome movie!

In my honest opinion, this was the last really great Godzilla movie. There have been plenty of good ones since, but this is the last one that I think is a truly great film.
