Favorite Heisei Soundtrack

What is your favorite Heisei era Godzilla film soundtrack?

Personally, my favorite is tied between Godzilla 1985 and Biollante. However, the Super-X 2 theme from Biollante is one of my all-time favorite orchestral tracks from any film, so that gives GvsB the edge...

Btw, to anyone who wants to hear the Super-X 2 theme, click below to download it...

Despite my love for the Godzilla vs. MGII soundtrack, I have to give props to G85. It's unique.

Biollante...eh.

Ifukube was in his late 70's & early 80's when he wrote the Heisei scores. I have no problem with the re-use of previous music plus the time he was given to to score the films was short. If I recall it was metioned he had a week to write the score for G vs MG II.

G vs MG is my favorite followed by G84.

If you really want to talk about poor orchestrations G vs B and G vs SG really suffer from that in my opinion. The performance of the orchestras sound pitiful compared to the Ifukube led scores.

Up from the undercaves beneath the earth's crust, came yet another monster of
mother earth's wrath against man's folly, after the many years of which the
likes of King Kong and Godzilla came, rises...
