*Looks at calendar, then at PMs, then back at calender*

Tisk, tisk. only one extra vote since last Monday? I would have thought you people would be more intersted in the Awards... no wonder we have yet to see the results for the Showa Awards! But really, I'd be willing to post the final outcome right now, but as I made mention of earlier, half of the categories are tied, and in some cases with more then just two nomaniees. So if you have seen these films (and I know you have  ), then by all means vote!

NOTE: if I do not get enough votes by THIS up-coming Monday to break the ties, then I will POST all the categories which are TIED, and from THOSE alone send me your votes (via PM, of course), so that the ties will no longer be and I can finally post the winners. In this case, ONLY those whom have not voted yet can help break the ties.

And also, if you have yet to vote for either the Showa or Millennium Awards, then by all means, do so! This is really great fun--both for us who take the votes and you whom cast them--we just you need to take part!

Thank You for Your Time,
G2K

im gonna post my vote in here because, hell, im a rebel without a cause

1) Best Godzilla design
Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, one of the most original takes on Godzilla, i LOVED it

2) Best Classic kaiju design (Any kaiju other than Godzilla that has been in a previous Toho film. Ex. Mothra, Rodan, King Ghidorah, Mechgodzilla, Moguera)
this is tough, a lot of the redesigns kina sucked...ill go with mechagodzilla though

3) Best New Kaiju (Biollante, Battra, Mecha-King Ghidorah, Super Mechagodzilla, Baby/Little/Junior Godzilla, Fire Rodan, SpaceGodzilla and Destroyah)
first of all, Super Mecha-G...i dont really consider new..that being said
BIOLLANTE, ill be SHOCKED if she doesnt win...THE MOST original Godzilla foe ever...who cares if you dont like the movie, give it up for Biollante...

4) Best Film Soundtrack
GvsMechagodzilla II

5) Best Human Story
G85
honorable mention to GvsD

6) Best Human Character
The one US military guy the "lets put a uniform on him" guy...but if you dont count that since he wasnt in the original cut...
Colonel Gondo, y'know the "stick to smoking" guy

7) Best Plot
G85...think about it, G reappears after a long period of Japanese apathy, the country is up in arms, an anti-nuclear waste ship battles him (the only really far-fetched part of the whole movie), and they create an extremely inventive way of ending G's rampage...i LOVE the plot, this is my fav Heisei film

8) Best SFX
hmm....GvB were prolly the most consistent of them all...

9) Best Cinematography (The visual quality/beauty of the film)
toughy, ummm, im actually gonna throw this vote to one of my least fav all-time G films, G vs. Mothra

10) Best Sequence (For example: Godzilla falls into Mt Mihara, Moguera flying through space, etc. etc.)
firstly, mogera in space...BAD example, one of the worst sequences in G history...anywho.....
my vote goes to...the godzilla meltdown...what else could it POSSIBLY be?!?

11) Best Fight
hmmm...GvDestroyer, as soon as D completes his transformation....you can see G fighting for his life and his agony when the lil guy dies...

12) Best Kaiju Villian
see, this is tough, because while Biollante was the most original...i HATED Destoroyah, y'know in a good way...so
DESTOROYAH

13) Best Director
whoever did G85, i dont even know ANY of the Heisei directors

14) Best Death Sequence
are you serious? is this question for real? OBVIOUSLY G's meltdown

15) Best Radioactive Breath Usage
hmm.....NOT gvmothra...that SUCKED....ill go with, GvKG

16) Best Picture
G85, i really enjoy this film as it is actually a solid film with a solid plot, if it didnt drag just a touch too much in the middle, it'd be my fav G film ever
