I'm pretty sure you see it another time in one of the later movie. Which one was it though. Hmmm >_~

I think that was just one of Godzilla's special taunts. He does something different, yet similar in most of the movies. As for why Ken, I think that's the boy's name, was doing the move... I believe, story-wise, that he had seen Godzilla do that taunt before the Hedorah experience and it just stuck with him.

And the nose thing in "Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster," I thought he was telling the girl to be quiet so he can sleep. You know like telling her, "Shhhhhhh." Oh well. :D

Godbless and be cool!

Well, I have no idea what the answer to the question you asked was, but my question is, after seeing "Godzilla Vs. Hedorah", how did your friend walk away from it? Do we have another G fan possibly in the making?

As a fan of b-movies and weird films, he was blown away. It was a good introduction, and he has since been known to sing "Save the Earth" on occasion. We've watched more together since then, all of which he liked.

I think Godzilla does the same thing in Godzilla v.s. Gigan. That stomping/pawing gesture. I've also heard that Nakajima orginaly did this a few times to locate the mouth of the suit so he line it up to prepare to make the motions to fire Godzilla's atomic breath. He kept it in and elaborated on it because he said the kids liked it. I know I like it.

I think Godzilla v.s. Hedora is coolest thing ever put on film. I don't mean the movie ever made. I mean that the fact that this series of images and sounds got put on celluloid rocks my world. It's one of my favorite G movies. But in an totaly abstract sense it's an amazing thing.
