Well, what is it? Mine is Hedorah, although that isn't saying much since I adore this era. I don't have much of a reason, it's just my least favorite. My prediction is that Gigan or Megalon will get the most votes, unfortunately.

Godzilla vs. Megalon is the worst film in the entire series. Not just the 70's portion of it. The reasons are numerous, and have already been gone into ad-nauseum so I'll spare such an analysis. With that said, I find the film very enjoyable. It never kids itself on what it is, or takes itself more seriously than necessary and is one of the G films where I more than welcome some of the silliness that occurs.
I will say this, if it wasn't for the slight originality of Gigan in certain areas- the original choice of character types in particular- then it would take the cake for worst due to the sheer amount of stock footage that the film shamelessly injects.

Godzilla vs Megalon is really bad, but it's also entertaining in a cheesy MST3K kind of way.
I guess my vote for least favorite would have to go to Godzilla vs Gigan due to its over-abundance of stock footage.

Terror is very boring to me, i did not like it, but the fights were pretty good.

I have to agree with the topic creator. I've never particularly cared for Hedorah/Smog Monster. It's not horrible, though. Things weren't horrible until the 90's. I like this "era" almost as much as the earlier Showa ones. Lots of good fun.

i think its funny that many people claim that ToMG is overrated and yet you look here and see how many people think it is the worst one...i usually say that movies that are highly praised are overrated, not ones that are dumped on

Does it matter to the younger fans that they probably haven't seen the longer version of ToMG?
