Godzilla.. Raids... ... ... Zzzzz... - Whoops sorry- Again. :wink:

Seriously, just a real bizarre entry. That puts me to sleep almost every time I watch it, both in the Americanization, and original Japanese version.

I kind of prefer the Americanization for the sheer amount of stock footage squeezed into the beginning, and the constant, annoying narration given by the main character as well. That at least moderatly amused me.

Otherwise, Not sure how to exactly put it but.. the film feels disjointed to me. The human drama is affected by the monster action to be sure.. But there feels like there's a major divide between those two components. Especially in the middle portion of the film that features the criminals escape.

Godzilla's Revenge. Nothing but stock footage that exists in the mind of a little boy. Horrible.

Hard to decide.

And I completely disagree with you people who hate Godzilla's Revenge. It was full of stock from son of godzilla and godzilla vs. the sea monster, but gabara was very original and it did have an original story. Im not saying it was the best, but it was at least somewhat good.

This was the best era... I guess I'd go with Raids Again. I'm torn on G's Revenge, because yes, it has it's bad points, and I used to hate it, but it is sort of one of these "So silly, it's entertaining" kinds of films for me.

^^^ ive heard that, but still the movie was less than good, it was just really boring to me...and be it as it may that the american distributors ruined it, until i see a japanese cut...my vote stands

the movie itself stands as good a sequel as like starship troopers 2...or teenage mutant ninja turtles 3...or any other movie that was good and then had a god-awful sequel that was inferior in every way, i really am shocked that godzilla was able to take off as much as he did after GRA
