The Lost World was a book to movie thing, and it wasn't meant to be a remake of the old silent film....unless there's a different Lost World movie out there that IS a remake of the old one...
and i like someone else said will probably only go see Kong in theaters to say ive seen a Kong movie in theaters

Posted: Mon Mar 07, 2005 5:32 pmthere was a remake of THE LOST WORLD in 1960, which was a waste of a good cast- kind of a LOST WORLD IN NAME ONLY thing even back then. and there has been at least one tv movie of it in the recent past. if Chrichton is such a good writer, how come he couldn't think of any original name for the second book/movie?
i just think it's funny that some people here don't want a Godzilla remake, but a Kong one seems to be a good thing. just funny how fandom works, eh?
