Godzilla was vulnerable to electricity in the early Showa films. In fact, He avoided power lines in KKvsG and electricity was one of the main weapons used against him in MvsG. SeaMonster reveals his was still vulnerable to electrcity at that point in his film career. However, in GvsMG Goji gains power from electrcity...

Interesting, huh?

Question, the Rodan that fought Godzilla in Ghidrah was the male Rodan from the movie "Rodan?" I thought they both died and this as another Male or their child.

And to add a point to the immortal life of Kaiju, let me just say... the power of mother nature is Godzilla's partner. Let me explain. This explanation will use the Heisei series to expand my thought.

J-Bite's Thought Of Godzilla's Immortality: Part 1

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

The first Godzilla was the creation of of human weapons of war and destruction. Godzilla was just a regular dinosaur, one of nature's children, before he was mutated. So nature sends Godzilla to teach humans a lesson for their ways. Nature keeps all of man's weapons from killing Godzilla, he is causing the destruction almost equal with the weapon that made him. Because Nature felt that humans at that time had learned their lesson, she allowed her child, Godzilla, to find peace at the hands of the oxygen destroyer. Peace for the people... for now.

Godzilla Raids Again

Time has passed, but wars, weapons and the develpoment of advanced weapons of great destruction were still the ways of man. Mankind didn't learn. So Nature decided to make her message even clearer, she sends two of here mutated children from their sleep. Nature resurrects the form of her first son, and a new son as well... a new Godzilla and Anguirus! That guy's plane (forgot his name from Godzilla Raids Again) was meant to breakdown so he can land on that island with G and A. This was Nature's way to spread the word. The only thing is the instincts of the children caused them to fight each other, but because they have yet to fulfill their purpose, nature keeps them from killing each other. They hit the water and the people get the early word. So what was with this delay befor the big attack? Nature was giving the people a chance to think about how they creations of war and hatred created G and A. Instead of excepting full responsiblity, they plan on getting rid of the monsters. This is the same thing as covering up their mistakes. That's a no-no!

So they use the fire trick to lure Godzilla away, but Nature is ticked by this. So Nature causes that car accident (I believe it was a car accident) that causes that greater fire... G like this fire better. So G starts off and then... Aguirus joins the scene. Anguirus just happens to to follow Godzilla to the same place or was he guided by Nature? Anyway, the fight is on and the destruction is almost 2 times as great than the first Godzilla's destruction. Nature is making a greater mark here. With the point made that the monsters are as destructive as the weapons that made them, nature finds that her job is done for now. But she can't take a chance with the humans failing to learn anything from this again. So, she takes her healing hand away from one of her children and allows Godzilla to kill Anguirus. She gives Anguirus peace and orders Godzilla to return to the sea, so that's why G leaves a big fire to remind the people of his mother's message. Because the massage was made and it seems it was sticking, she allows for this Godzilla to be taken out, but not by death. Notice the place is ice, natural, so Godzilla is covered is his mother's arm to sleep. Peace for the people... the message of man's weapons, war, and hatred had been made again. Anyway...

Godzilla 1984/ 1985

Many years have passed, and mankind had gotten worse and weapons became way advanced and deadly. (I may be wrong on the next point so correct me if needed) A powerful weapon called "Super-X" was being made in Japan for possible need in future wars. Nature was not pleased, but chose to wait for many years. She waited long enough... the message must be made again. Since the new generation is making the same old mistakes, and old technique must be used on the people (Sins of the Fathers).Notice that on that ship in the beginning of the movie one man is still living when all others are dead. Nature chose him to be witness to the awakening of Godzilla. The same one that was frozen in the ice and has been resting all this time. A good example is when Godzilla attacks the nuclear plant. Was he there to just take the energy, or was there something else. We assume he picked up the reactor to take its energy, but what if was showing the people something. Perhaps Nature knew the Professor and his 2 friends were recording Godzilla at the time. So possibly Godzilla was showing the Professor the reactor to show him what it is he's against. To show the Professor something like: "I'm an old creature, but this dangerous energy you create is the same as the kind that created me. You humans still haven't learn. Record this and tell your people." And Godzilla didn't leave because his mind is like a bird's mind. Nature sent her children as a sign to rest now, the message has been sent. It was time to see what the humans make of it. That is why Godzilla didn't go foward to the Professor's location, so that he may spread the word like: "Listen folks, the stuff we're making is bad and causes harm to ourselves and nature. Godzilla is living proof and has held up in his arms the very thing that caused his mutation and pain. Forget planing his death, yet plan a change in us! Godzilla didn't destroy Tokyo long ago, we did and we need to take responsibility for that." Of course that wasn't the message that the people got so... anyway. While Japan in the movie refused to use nuclear weapons, they still had powerful weapons (Super-X) at their disposal. In the end Godzilla caused major damage with no weapon killing him except the Super-X. While the Super-X weapons hadn't killed him, Godzilla became posioned. So Nature placed her son to sleep to heal him, but found other manipulations for her cause. She guided that dying Russian man to push that button, causing what would've have been the death of Japan. Nature didn't intend for the death of Japan though, so she guided the U.S. missle to cancel out the other missle. This was meant to scare the people of Japan straight. With that over, Nature throws down her lightening to awaken her now healed child to continue. The weapon of destruction (Super-X) is destroyed. With this destruction and hopefully a point made and understood, she allows the Professor's plan to work and let's her son rest in one of her volcanoes to sleep. Did man finally learn and accept responsibility for the weapons and wars and Godzilla's creation... no! Tere was now two things that Nature wanted humans to recognize: (1) That they must make a change in their weapons and technology of destrction and (2) that they can make the greates of machines and it will be no match fro nature (Super-X vs. Godzilla). Rest in my warm womb where my lava will warm you and not harm you Godzilla, Nature commanded. Let us see where the humans go from here.

To Be Continued...

Godbless and be cool!

^ I agree. There was no evidence of a baby or another egg in the volcano caverns during the film RODAN.

I always suspected that the male pulled himself out of the lava sometime after the movie ended and burrowed underground, spending the next 7 odd years healing from his burn wounds.

Meanwhile since we are speaking of Rodan. I just wanted to ask a quick question about the film. Was it released as RODAN THE FLYING MONSTER or simply RODAN here theatrically? The movie posters says "The Flying Monster" while the theatrical trailer says simply RODAN!
