The 1965 Godzilla suit was used for water tank scenes in Son of Godzilla, Destroy all Monsters, and Godzilla vs Hedora. The 1967 suit was used for water scenes in Godzilla vs Gigan.

In the Heisei series one of 1989/91 suits (there were two) was used for the underwater battle with Battra in Godzilla vs Mothra. The Godzilla vs Mothra suit was used in the battle against Rodan in Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla and then was used in water tank scenes in Godzilla vs Space Godzilla. The Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla suit was seen in Godzilla vs Space Godzilla in the scenes of Godzilla coming ashore in Birth Island.
