Id have to vote for Godzilla vs. Mecha-Godzilla when the real G makes his appearence and fights his double and GvB when Godzilla climbs out of the volcano was just plain awesome.

Best entrance for me would have to be GRA. I just love how they have Godzilla battling Ang right at the very beggining with no explanation. I mean who really needs to know how the two met up or either of their backstories. I wish more Godzilla films were like that...

Definitely one of the best entrances, but his entrance in GodzillavsTheThing is at least tied with it....the geiger counter reading goes beserk as the ground shakes in the distance, then Godzilla's tail pops up and then he rises and shakes the dirt off himself.....an entrance for the ages. :bow:

A runner up is Ghidrah: The Three Headed Monster where the whales are shown fleeing and shortly thereafter, Godzilla rises from the waves and toasts the ship. :borg: :cylon:

If we are considering the whole series here, I would have to say my favorites would be either G'85 or GMK. The reveal of Godzilla in G'85 was brilliant,imo, and my favorite scene of the entire movie. I had never seen Godzilla's size so dramatically protrayed up to that point... of the Showa series I would probably have to go with Godzilla vs. The Thing.

The Heisei series is guilty of the lack of creativity. Godzilla vs King Ghidora, Godzilla vs Mothra, Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla and Godzilla vs Space Godzilla have Godzilla entrances so similar they might as well be stock footage of each other set to the same stock music.
