I went to the 3:15 PM Saturday screening at Film Forum in New York, and the theater was packed. Had to have been 50 people at least (it's a small theater). Yes, the subtitles were very satisfying though I must admit that the translation for the majority of lines were the same as the subs for the bootleg of the movie that's been circulated in the USA for years. I guess that bootleg's translation is a transcript of subtitles for older subbed theatrical screenings. Still, I urge everyone to go see this movie. Btw, thankfully there were no hecklers at this movie, and the only parts people laughed at were parts that we as fans would likely find funny, like the conference of Yamane's Godzilla presentation at the Diet Building where an official says that the news is so dier that it shouldn't be made public. Great experience to not be missed! Go as soon as you can! :Big-th-up:

went last sunday eve for the 8pm show,nice crowd 30-40 people on sunday night!!! do,nt forget its a small theatre holds about 100 people. i noticed there were some who clearly were there from either word of mouth or a fan brought them along,they were reacting as if this was the first time seeing the movie, i,ll be going again this sat, i,ll catch the 1pm show
