I recently interviewed the head of Rialto Pictures about the 50th Anniversary US release of GODZILLA. Anyone interested in Rialto's plans and a list of cities showing the movie from May thru August can read the report on Henshin! Well its a shame that Philadelphia will not see it at leas if at all until September. Well since Jess and my finals end the 14th and since my mom wants me to take my sister to see NYU so her and my dad dont have to go. It looks like I'll be seeing it after all. Though this does pale to the west coast show. D'oh.

Great article Keith it was an enjoyable read.

i emailed rialto and alas, they will not be showing it in canada, as they only have US distribution rights

looks like a road trip a nearby american city will be necessary...

SMALL UPDATE I got an email from Bruce Goldstein (he liked the way my article came out

) in which he wrote the following:

"Our new subtitles make it an entirely new experience for the Western viewer. I think they're as accurate as possible."

I really can not wait to see this one in the theater. Sure it's not the most action packed or explosive Godzilla movie, or even the most entertaining. But over all other films, it deserves to be seen theatrically.
