*Jumps for joy*

HELL YEAH, I get to see the original Godzilla, *dances* this is going to be awesome! Any ways I don't know if this has been posted or not, but Railto has updated it's Godzilla page with other theatres that will be showing it.

The AFI Silver... yes!!!

I would suggest skipping the showings at the AFI National Film Theater in DC and catching the showings at the AFI Silver in MD. The DC theater isn't even really a theater, just a spare room at the Kennedy Center that they show movies in. I saw the restored "Metropolis" there a while back, and it was a horrible presentation... going out of focus at every reel change, loud noise from the building's AC, etc. The AFI Silver, on the other hand, I can't say nearly enough good things about it!

What about the north mid west? I don't have a theater showing it for like 300 miles!

Hmm...I wonder if I should see it in LA in May, or just wait to see if the Egyptian's going to be playing it along with their other G-movies in the summer. :?

Descisions, descisions...

Ah, good ol' southern California... :D

I live 20 minutes away from the AFI Silver Spring one and 40 minutes away from the Kennedy center one! I'm not letting this opportunity pass me by!

All you people in the big citys are lucky with all your culture and cool theaters that get old movies and stuff. Here in Rochester we have the George Eastman house theater that showed Kong and other old stuff a lot but I doubt they will be getting Gojira 54. The bigger Art house in town, the little, only gets new indipendant films. I email them about godzilla but never a response.
