Monster Zero x SciFi Japan - Archive Only

Would anyone know the differences between the Japanese version and the American version of Godzilla vs The Sea Monster. I always see a picture of Godzilla throwing Ehbira but I did not see that in the American release.

Well, there are those staged publicity shots... and Godzilla does judo slam Ebirah once during the first battle.

The main differences in two versions are A.) The opening credits, B.) A scene with one of the castaways' brother talking to the police about his brother, C.) some scenes while the characters are sailing on the Yahlen, D.) References to "Ebirah" and "Red Bamboo" are intact, and E.) When Godzilla battles the Red Bamboo jets, a party ditty culled from Kurosawa's "High and Low" plays-- it really enhances the scene and is my favorite part of the film.

That's about it I think.
