Very sad news.

She'll be remembered for many years to come for lending her pristine voice to what are quite probably the most beautiful, haunting songs in a science fiction film--ever.

Aside from the Mothra song, this is how I will remember them by, a cover of one of my favourite bands:

Depressing to see symbols of things I loved growing up slowly fading away and disappearing and seems to be a daily recurrence lately (and also reminding me of my own aging and mortality). Very sad indeed, but at least she lived a very long and very productive life. Of course, the Peanuts will always be remembered for their "Mosura ya!" song from Mothra and Mothra vs G...for me personally, their Mothra song from GTTHM it what always stuck with me the most, as it was both breath-taking and very haunting at the same time...one of the most memorable songs of the G franchise.
