Alrighty, two cents time.
Hells yeah to the reptilian look. The view of the front of his face is a little off in the eyes compared to how some other suits look, but in a pretty big way it goes quite well with the somewhat zany characterization in the movie itself, if not just simply accentuating the form of a prehistoric beasty! Big, dumb and lumbering.... dangerous...awesome!!
Three toes!?! No ears?! There was a time that I would pine over such things! Now I don't even notice or mind. These features look just like they should on that suit. I will admit to checking out the rather hybrid looking '55/'62 G constructed for American movie makers, and pondering what could have been....

Back to the mighty '62! Big crazy long claws and spikey teeth, CRAZY fat knees... all good as can be, and I like the overall thickness for the same reasons I like the slenderness in the '64 suit: it just looks cool from so many angles (unlike the '55 and yes, the '54 at times).
Just as Goji looks like a brute, powerfully built and bruising for a fight, this suit is also just sooooo
distinct in design!! A standout, if you will, like the '54/'55 "primitives", '84 "what's worked the best" job,or '02 GMK "re-imagined roots". Haruo Nakajima was quite fluid in this suit and got a lot out of it. When he's playin the part, we are right there with him!!
That said, I'm no huge fan of this flick for much beyond its historical worth and I have a hard time giving a lot of love to the more anthropomorphic portrayals of Goji, but this suit forgives the misgivings that I have for the film, even if not so much for clownzilla!
It's a thing of rare symmetry that I like to comb my eyes over whenever some representation of it is around.
