Possable Godzilla vs The Thing Reconstruction Project
Posted: Thu Aug 13, 2009 1:08 pmI am actually thinking about reconstructing the US version of Mothra vs Godzilla called Godzilla vs The Thing. I can't help but noticed how many people on the Icons of Sci Fi thread saying how nice it would be nice if Godzilla vs The Thing get reconstructed. I want to use the Japanese print as the primany source for video with some footage of the US version for the newspaper news/ the extra frounter missile scene and credits. So far, I've extacted the audio from the US cut from the Classic Media recent DVD release. However, I do not really the source footage for the US cut on the DVD because it doesn't match the Japanese cut in terms of widescreen ratio. So any thoughts?
