I don't get this whole "goofy dragon" thing regarding Titanosaurus. What exactly is more goofy about him in comparison to other monsters like Gigan, Kong, Megalon, etc?
TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA definitely is one of the best Godzilla films. Other than the two 80's films (even that's arguable), nothing else made since was up to par with this film, quite frankly.

I said after 1989. 
BIOLLANTE is fantastic. GMK being "better" than TOMG..well, that's a personal preference. I definitely don't like it better personally, but whether or not it's a better made film is a discussion for another day.
A "high point" or not, it's still a damn good Godzilla film.
