WTF has happened to Gigantis the Fire Monster! I know it's a REALLY messed up version of Godzilla Raids Again, but seriously... IT'S THE ONLY SHOWA MOVIE I HAVEN'T WATCHED! I really wanna see it! As usual though Toho is way too expensive with their DVD's...

Well...If anyone with inside information like kpa knows on the US status of this film PLEASE tell me!

Yah Ive had the Video Treasure Vhs since I was like 3 now, but the quality is getting really bad and grainy. But when looking for goji stuff on ebay Ive seen it a few times too. Ive heard its one of the rarest kaiju vhs releases now though.

well how about someone point me in the direction of where I can get this film on dvd, I don't need a vhs since I don't have a vcr anymore

Only R2's...But we all know the deal with the cost of THOSE discs...

I don't think there is an any other region with this movie either.

I just transferred my copy to DVD-r, complete with a few trailers and interesting things like that. I love my DVD burner.

Indeed, DVD Toho's region 2 release is the only version legally in print at the moment.

However, I think it was Battra92 that uploaded a subtitle script for this film, so you can still view the film subtitled if you play it on your computer.

Then again, I believe pretty much all the R2's are worth the money. Even films with just average video quality, like the Heisei releases, make up for it with the excessive amount of extra features.

Well, I bought for around $15 dollars a, well, not legit copy of GIGANTIS at a fan convention on DVD. Fullscreen, dubbed. Warner Brothers film. I was going to have my dad put in on Ebay, since I haven't watched it at all.
