Right before Mechagodzilla makes his entrance (disguised as Godzilla), there was a shot of a rock making "spaceship noise" that flew out of the mountain, traveled for some distance, and exploded upon contact with the earth. Was there a point to that, or a reason offered in the Japanese version? (I haven't seen the US version in almost 15 years).
