This isn't my favorite, but I don't hate it. In some places, I enjoy the dub more than the original language version. Shoot me, but while the voice actors are kind of bland, I love the music. Of all the films I've seen that Masaru Sato scored, this seems the most uncharacteristic. Most of his that I've heard are engaging and bouncy; this almost felt lazy; like he didn't feel like putting much work into it. The added scene of "the creation of the fire monsters" was a lot more engaging than five minutes of silent footage of Godzilla stock footage from the previous film, in my opinion. The characters were a little boring, but the story was okay. The monster battles looked pretty neat being filmed at regular speed.
