I like Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla the most, but Terror of Mechagodzilla is the best-made IMO. All of these films are some of the most entertaining in the series though.

GvsMG74 for me! :D Somehow, this movie never gets old, no matter how many times I watch it.

They're all awesome, but if I have to pick one, it's probably Gigan.

The monster himself also happens to be one of the coolest of all G's foes.

It was between Hedorah and MG for me. I ultimately went with MG because it's a bit tighter than Hedorah, and because it's the best of Fukuda's offerings.

And let me be the first to voice what might be an unpopular opinion- Sato's MG74 score kicks the crap out of Ifukube's score in TOMG.

I think all the '70s Godzilla movies are extremely fun and entertaining to watch (with the exception of "Terror of MG", that is), but my absolute favorite of the 5 (and my all time fave G movie, PERIOD) is easily "Godzilla Vs. Gigan". Despite the feelings of a lot of fans, I see it's supposed "flaws" as only adding to the charm of this EXCELLENT Godzilla outing...after over 20 years of being a G fan, "Godzilla Vs. Gigan" is still #1 for me, and always will be :!: :D

Godzilla vs. Gigan, for me, is real fun, despite being a bit long. I'm just so familiar with it, that I can't see it as anything less than great.

My all time favorite is Godzilla Vs. Megalon, along with Godzilla Vs. Gigan.

Godzilla Vs. Hedorah and Terror of Mechagodzilla also get honorable mentions.

Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla isn't bad, it's a good movie. But there was more focus on King Shisa (who is woefully underused) than the two title monsters. It was much more of an Okinawa and King Shisa film than a Godzilla or Mechagodzilla film.

Tough Choice between the Mechagodzilla films and Godzilla vs Gigan.

I saw Godzilla vs Gigan (As Godzilla on Monster Island) in the theater in.. Oh, I think it was 1982? 1983?
So it has some sentimental value for me..
Plus, Aside from it's use of Stock Footage.. It has some of the Most entertaining Kaiju mayhem.

Between Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla and Terror of Mechagodzilla, I had to choose Terror because of One Scene.

Titanosaurus is being distracted by the Humans and Godzilla is Charging Mechagodzilla through it's Full arsenal of rockets and rays, even getting his Dorsals set on fire!
Godzy finally reaches MG and opens a tanker full of whoop-tail on it.

I dunno.. i just liked it. :P
