a reference to the T-rex from "the last dinosaur" which movie aired before Godzilla vs the Sea monster that day, when I was 11.

Here's another, From a college friend.

My friend walks into my room while I was watching "Godzilla vs Hedorah"
He sits down next to me and starts watching it too. He watches the whole movie without saying anything. Finally the movie ended, He gets up and then turns to me with a big smile on his face and says: "Man, I got to get some of that sh*t they were smoking when they made that movie."

My girlfriend has only seen the american one..
however she did catch the awakening of King Ceesar.
She sat for like a minute or so just staring at the screen and finally says "...this is retarded"
It may have been an insult...but the timing was funny.

My friends are actually pretty accepting of godzilla. I actually made one of them watch a couple and he went out that weekend and bought some. I've only watched Final Wars with them, and got comments like

"....is.....is he playing soccer?" people will know what this is from

"God....that thing...what is it?...What the #$%" in reference to Minya, the obscenity was due to his lack of sleep.

"Holy Crap" everyone when Anguirus first rolls into a ball


My dad also kept saying various things about the music in godzilla versus hedora when we saw it at g-fest.
He kept trying to go to sleep, but couldn't..

These weren't friends and it wasn't stupid...but someone said it during the g-fest screening of Tokyo S.O.S.

Little Kid: Daddy, who are they

Dad: Those are Mothra's fairies....they're hot.
