Well, at least you guys have been getting a good selection of dubbed n' subbed kaiju dvds for a few years now - the sony dvds, ADV's discs and Media Blasters' output among others - whilst the rest of us on this side of the pond haven't got anything until recently.(KK vs. G and Kong escapes) For a long, long time, there was no sign of any Godzilla or other kaiju dvds in the UK.
You might've been waiting for a a 'Gojira' dvd for forever, but we've been waiting even longer for any kaiju dvds over here. :D

I suppose I should mention I'm from Ireland, but we're pretty much in the same boat as the UK when it comes to dvd releases. :)

American fans have been pretty lucky since every single film in the Godzilla series has been officially released here in some format.

I think it's also a smart movie for any Godzilla fan to pick up a cheap multi-region player and take advantage of the internet to fill gaps in their collection. The R2 BFI and Toho DVDs, the R3 Universe Laser titles, and the R4 Madman discs can all be ordered over the internet, so nobody has to miss out if they don't want to.

They're not releasing Kong or Biollante? Disappointing. Guess I'll have to get the Japanese R2s sometime. Problem is, even with the strength of the pound, they're still pretty expensive!

Just got an email from Madman saying they ship to the UK. A more reliable option that going by ezyDVD, I guess, since last time I checked most of the Godzilla DVDs there seemed to be only be avaliable "by request".
