But brizilla the film DIDN'T do good business at the box office. It's total cost was 13 million dollars and it grossed only 10 million which is pretty bad for a movie playing in over 2000 theaters. Maybe the theater you were in was packed, but that was hardly the case for most theaters across North America due to it's numbers.

Meanwhile I agree that some of the press gave it good reviews but based solely on the horrible Hollywood GODZILLA film. But still it scored a negative rating on www.rottentomatoes.com. It's total count was 37 positive reviews VS 28 negative reviews. Which is almost dead even. If it wasn't for the GINO as you call it, I'm sure the reviews would have been more towards the negative side.

Regardless that's no excuse not to release ANY of the latter films especially GMK.

And was GODZILLA AGAINST MECHAGODZILLA that bad? I haven't seen that one yet.
