Wow! It's no wonder why non-fans hate this fandom sometimes as it devours some of its own fans for having an opinion that one era is better than another and all these other fans respond, "OMG!!! NOOOS! It's a PROVEN fact by 99.9% of fans this era is better than yours, noob!!" Give me a break! It's an opinion and no one's opinion is better than another no matter how greatly constructed it is. A well-constructed opinion is simply a laundry list of reasons why one person, personally, likes one over the other. At the core of it all, it's still just an opinion. This is sad and despicable. Every single era has had great people working in front of and behind the camera.
Anyways, I've always loved the Showa era films and, not just particular Showa films that I have never cared much for before, but films from the Heisei and Shinsei eras are growing on me more as well. I must be looking at these films from a different perspective or something. They're all fun.
