Awesome stuff August :th-up: For those who constantly grip "this film's SFX are so uneven and rushed!", I dare you to find very many scenes executed as well as King Ghidorah's attack on the village. It's very realistic...some of Tsuburaya's best work.
By the way, for those wondering or who have asked, most of these photos I got from
History of Godzilla:54-99 by Shogokukan:
It's one of the best, most underrated books out there. Unfortunately, it often gets overlooked by other books, such as the Pictorial Books of Godzilla 1 and 2 (which are spectacular as well). I cannot recommend ithis book enough and any G-Fan interested in books like this should pick it up. I believe Clawmark toys still has it for sale:

By the way, I hope we can continue this theme in these film discussion threads and more people will share any interesting images they have of these great films
:OT: You know, this thread got me in the mood to watch this great film again. On the R2 DVD, Akiko Wakabayaashi did commentary, and she sounded really enthusiastic and seemed like she was having alot of fun talking about this film. Has G-Fest ever approached her, Kumi Mizuno, or Hama Mie about being guests? I don't keep up with G-fest (I haven't made it to one since 96, when it was "G-Con"...I still prefer that name to "fest"), but I don't think they've had too many female guests. Since she stared in some great SFX films (Dogora, KKvsG, and GTTHM), I think she would make a great guest. She would probably be the opposite of Megumi Odaka, who I read was rather shy and timid at G-Fest 2000.
Anyways, that's off topic, but something I wondered about.
