I love Destroy All Monsters. I think there is too much time spent with the SY3 though.

Ok, can we stop talking about JFP. He was a ding-dong. Nuff said.

Anyway, DAM is my favorite G film of them all. It would be pointless to talk about why, since I'd be repeating all the wonderful things already said about the film.

And, in case anyone is interested, DAM comes out on R2 DVD next week.

I really do enjoy DAm, though I haven't seen it in about 2 years.....It, like everyone has said, has a great fight, good monsters etc. I think it may be a bit overrated, but it's still one of the best Showa out there...

I like DAM quit a a bit. It was the one Gfilm that for years I never saw(it wasn't avaible anywhere in the US except in the secret world of boots). Finally, I bought it at GCON95 and I loved it, but I was very disappointed that Varan and Baragon both had virtually no role in the film. After seeing pics of it for years in various books(Particularly Ian Thorne's Godzilla Book), I though we would see alot of them. One thing that did pleasently surprise me was the larger than expected role of Gorosaurus, since he was only in for a split second in King Kong Escapes and got the snot knocked out of him. His Kangeroo kick RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. :eek:

Not as good as Ghidrah or GvstheThing, but still one of the highlight films of the showa series and the last truly good, Honda-esque G film before the series took a turn for the worse with the arrival of the 70s...
