I can't say I really like Minya,but I think my chief problem is his appearance-he looks like the offspring of Godzilla and King Kong,while one book I remember described[ accurately IMO] him as looking like something out of a book on medical freaks.This was one thing the Heisei series did better.However,I do like the Godzilla/Minya relationship in Son Of Godzilla.cute and funny[love Godzilla dragging him along by his tail!]

I don't really have anything against Minya... yeah.. it is a bad silly design.. but he's far from the annoying presence of the kids in the Gamera movies. heh. I thought Minya was cute when he first hatched out of his egg (no teeth & stuff).. they should have kept him more like that.. or at least not green.

Minya disturbs me, let me put it that way. I like the look of Little Godzilla from GvsSG, but Minya isn't even "cutsey"....just gross. He always looked sickly and diseased to me. :-\

I don't really hate him, but I just dislike him. He did have a significant role in the Showa films in which he starred, I guess, but I just didn't like him. I felt Junior was a much better version of godzilla's offspring. Though technically neither where his children...yeah...
