It also would have created a legitimate sense of drama....Godzilla would be faced with not one, but two of his most powerful foes at the same time....for once, there would be actual doubt and suspense as to whether or not Godzilla would prevail...instead we ended up with a boring, inferior remake of MothravsG with MG thrown in (and Mothra and MG didn't even face off and barely interacted...god I how I hate GSoS :x )...
