King Ghidorah's actor arms?

Ok, I might have missed it somewhere but does anyone know where the suitmation actor who played Ghidorah placed his arms and hands while in the suit. I know in more recent versions (ie. Young Ghidorah in GMK) the suitmantion guy had his arms and hands in the outer two necks. But where were they put it other versions?

Were they place over the person's head which would explain the two bulges on the chest where they two front neck's attach to the body?


Or were they simple held at the side?

I believe the Showa necks were held by wires only. The arm controlled necks didn't happen until the Heisei series.

They're inside the suit, I don't think until GMK there were need to use arms in the suit.

Arms up the outer two necks!? Now that's pain waitin' to happen!

Yeah, I beleive the actor's arms have been inside the chest (perhaps in "guarding" position so he isn't unbalanced), and it was only GMK-Goji that had the arms act as the necks...and then it oly worked since the necks were so much shorter than on Showa and Heisei KG.

I always thought the actor's arms had to be folded up against his chest, kinda as if he were doing a chin-up. This would eccount for the bulges under the outboard necks and for the proximity of the bulges to the top of the beast's legs.

The suit actor's arms were used in the two outside necks of young Prehistoric Ghidorah from Mothra 3 as well as in GMK.
