Fukuoka-born Composer Go Misawa passed away on the morning of November 20th in a hospital near Palm Springs, California. He was 79. According to his wishes, no funeral service was held.
Originally from Fukuoka, Misawa composed music for several anime series, including MOONLIGHT MASK, DEVILMAN, and AIM FOR THE ACE!, as well as the tokusatsu series ZONE FIGHTER in the early 1970s, and dramas such as ATTENTION PLEASE (with Kenji Sahara) and THE SIGN IS V (both the 1960 and 1973 versions and the 1970 Toho feature film version).
In 1976, Misawa moved to the U.S., where he continued his music career, dubbed films and pursued acting.
