I was watching "Terror of MG" earlier today and something dawned on me...
As ridiculous as it sounds, do you think there's even the remotest possibility that Dr. Wily from the Mega Man series was based looks wise on Dr. Mafune?
Minus glasses as he's dying, Mafune looks like a dead ringer for Wily!
Thoughts?

Mafune's mustache wasn't as long as Wily.
Wily just looks like a generic scientist (old man, mustache, white coat). Any similarties are just coincidence.
