Now that I watch the trailer again I hope the nighttime scenes are more visible than that - it's not going to be as much fun watching a bunch of silhouettes with glowing parts duke it out. And I know that sounds like Pacific Rim, but at least that had the super saturated neon lighting of the city.

This article from the Hollywood Reporter hints that the creature coming out from the ground perhaps could be the Sasori Monster (which was planned for "Godzilla vs. Mothra" - ), while the monster coming out of the mountain could possibly be Gamera!

I'm going to assume that there are no other monsters in this movie other than the four we have. Hollywood reporter seems to be stretching it a bit. Gotta get them clicks in!

Those posters are gorgeous! Just really lovely work. The promotion for this film has just been top-notch so far. Warners and Legendary have done a bang-up job.

Very smart to promote the individual monsters. With this exposure, even people who have never seen one of these old movies before may go in with a favorite just because of what they've seen from the ads. I'm looking forward to there being not just new Godzilla fans, but new Mothra fans, new Rodan fans, etc...

Those posters are wicked. The Rodan one especially. I like the feet are in a more realistic position for a bird.

Thinking on it, I'm surprised they didn't use Bear McCreary's new version of Ifukube's Godzilla march for the new trailer. We know it's going to be in the movie. This trailer would have been the perfect introduction to the piece for the uninitiated and it would have accompanied the scenes shown in the trailer perfectly. Missed opportunity here, Legendary.

Those posters are great. I especially like Rodan's. And the Bible quotes Michael Dougherty posted with them go well with the sense of awe and grandeur they seem to be going for too. And yeah, definitely a great idea to promote the other monsters like this as the major characters they are.
