An intriguing script excerpt. Recalls the scene in the first Godzilla vs. Mothra film wherein nets were dropped on Godzilla to enhance the effect of the electrodes used when shocking him with artificial lightning. Are sinkholes mentioned in this script draft? If so, what role do they play?

There is a video circulating that seems to depict the Muto's head biting through a train from the new trailer.

I think that this is inaccurate: I believe the mutos have claws like a shrimp- in fact there is one bit in the script that compares their special attack to a super size version of what a Pistol Shrimp does.

I don't know how to reply to the above post with any more clarity than I already have. Please see the MUTO thread- there will be some new items of interest posted soon. Specifically something involving a dance club.

And I spotted the video on Facebook- there's DEFINITELY an appendage or something visible in the clip, and I can verify that it's NOT Godzilla, but a Muto that attacks the train in the script, so it lines up... I just don't think that it's the thing's head, but rather a shrimp-like claw.

I'm hazy on how it's "electrical" when a Pistol Shrimp's ability involves cavitation and only makes sense under water, as a Snorkel Kingdom user rightly pointed out. Here's where I got that from:

I never said they attempt to capture the Muto in a Godzilla vs Mothra type scheme. I don't mind if you relay what's on here to Snorkel Kingdom (Hi guys, love you! Especially you rascally mods!) but at least refrain from embellishing what I say with speculation- that's how rumors get started.

It definitely sounds like the humans end up rooting for Godzilla, as it sounds like there is concern for him. Godzilla might be dangerous, but the Mutos sound like "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" kaiju. Hopefully Godzilla kills them with the help of the humans, then in classic Godzilla style, he peacefully goes back into the ocean. Is this pretty close snow, or am I wrong and they want to kill Godzilla?
